Winemaker’s Notes:
Powerful, harmonious nose with notes of citrus, mango, and other exotic fruit. The direct, energetic attack on the palate presents the same exotic, fresh character. The wine presents plenty of volume and good harmony. The buttery notes from the barrel-ageing have a definite presence and will quickly become integrated to give the wine more complexity.

  This certainly has the signature of its parent, with careful saffron spicing running through the citrus body, given lift by attractive points of lime arranged through the palate. This is a white wine for roast chicken, extremely welcoming but could be more tense. A lovely, lightly-toasted golden colour. Drinking Window 2018 – 2030″

  The 2016 R de Rieussec has a strict and quite stony bouquet with dew-speckled green apples and a touch of freshly sliced pear. The palate is well balanced with touches of peach skin and nectarine, a crisp line of acidity with pleasant salinity towards the finish. Drink this dry white from the Rieussec team over the next five or six years. Drink Date: 2018 – 2023 (28th April 2017)
