“Bright aromas of ripe black and blue fruits are complemented by holiday spice notes on the nose. The medium to full-bodied palate shows layers of cola, black cherry, mixed berry jam and cloves. The wine is juicy and plush with a firm structure and balanced acidity.”

Tasting Notes:
“Lifted aromas of dark cherry, plum and blackcurrant are complemented by spice and cedar notes. The medium-bodied palate is generous with a rich array of red and dark-berry fruit on a well structured frame. This is a classic red blend of two varieties that always complement each other and produce exceptional wines in the Limestone Coast region.”

“Limestone Coast, Australia- Rich, spicy plum and blackberry aromas and flavors come from the high percentage of Shiraz in the blend but the Cabernet does add depth and complexity.”

  Plum and cherry fruits are backed by Szechuan peppercorns, cloves and mint on this characterful Shiraz. There’s a good lick of cola oak here too. The palate is fresher than expected, wound by taut tannins. It has a burst of tangy fruit and an intriguing spice rack of flavors.” Christina Pickard. (December, 2021)
