  Made from 100% Syrah, the deep garnet-purple colored 2016 Syrah Reserve starts with a very savory nose of bacon fat, bouquet garni and black olives, giving way to a core of baked plums and blackberry preserves with touches of licorice and cracked black pepper. Full-bodied and full-on decadent, the palate bursts with black fruit and savory layers, framed by firm, rounded tannins and bold freshness, finishing long and spicy. Impressive! (13th August 2020)
